Riley County, Kansas

Riley County is located in east central Kansas. It is named after Bennet C. Riley, the last military governor of California.
The seat and largest city are both Manhattan. In Manhattan, Kansas State University draws many people to the county.

The county borders Marshall, Pottawatomie, Wabaunsee, Geary, Clay and Washington Counties.
Main highways through the county include I-70, US-24, US-77, K-13, K-16 and K-18.
